Russian President Vladimir Putin called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to agree to the peace initiatives proposed and currently adopted by Russia.

A high-level Russian delegation also arrived in Tel Aviv today (Thursday) to discuss the possibility of reaching a prisoner swap deal between Israel and Hamas. Against the backdrop of statements made by Hamas leader Musa Abu Marzouk today regarding the possibility of releasing two prisoners holding Russian citizenship as part of any deal concluded in the future.

This news comes after it was learned earlier today (Thursday) that an Israeli and American delegation, attended by CIA Director Bill Burns, Mossad Director David Barnea, and Egyptian Intelligence Chief Hassan Rashad, is expected to arrive in Doha, Qatar, in the coming days to renew the possibility of negotiations on the prisoner swap deal, according to what US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said at a press conference held in Qatar, and as confirmed by a senior Israeli official.
