Settlers uproot 30 olive trees east of Salfit

Today, Tuesday, settlers uprooted about 30 olive trees in the village of Yasuf, east of Salfit.

According to local sources, the settlers broke and uprooted about 30 olive trees, aged between 20 and 25 years, owned by the brothers Imad and Jihad Rabah Abdel Razek, in the “Under the Vineyard” area east of the village.

She pointed out that the village is subjected to continuous attacks by settlers from the "Tafuh" settlement, which is built on citizens' lands, as they continuously uproot trees, in addition to the occupation's repeated closure of the village's main street.

According to a report prepared by the National Bureau for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements, the suffering of farmers during this year’s olive harvest season is more severe than last year’s, due to the terrorism of the occupation and its settlers, which threatens to cause higher crop losses.
