WFP: Food aid lines to the northern Gaza Strip cut off since the beginning of this month

  1. The World Food Program announced today, Saturday, that food aid lines to the northern Gaza Strip have been cut off, stressing that the risk of famine "still exists" in the Strip.
  2. He explained in a post on the "X" platform: "No food aid has entered northern Gaza since October 1, stressing that the repercussions of what is happening are catastrophic for the food security of thousands of Palestinian families."
  3. The World Food Programme added that food distribution points in northern Gaza were forced to close due to the ongoing shelling and evacuation orders, noting that a fire broke out in the only operating bakery in Jabalia after it was hit by explosive ammunition.
