The occupation prevents farmers from picking olives east of Tulkarm
Today, Friday, the Israeli occupation forces prevented farmers in the town of Ramin, east of Tulkarm, from picking olives, and forced them to leave their lands.
According to local sources, the occupation soldiers stormed the Ramin Plain area east of the town, and prevented the farmers from continuing to pick olives under threat of arms, and from returning to their lands until they obtained coordination and permits to enter their lands, under the pretext that the area is military.
It pointed out that the soldiers were accompanied by a settler who had seized areas of the plain area some time ago, and had established a colonial pastoral outpost on it where he grazes his sheep, and assaults farmers while they are working on their lands, forcing them to leave at gunpoint.
The region witnesses many attacks by settlers on the plain lands, by burning and destroying its trees.
