Israeli occupation forces storm Tulkarm and impose a curfew on its camp
Large forces of the Israeli occupation army stormed the city of Tulkarm again this morning, Tuesday.
According to local sources, the occupation forces, accompanied by two heavy bulldozers, stormed the city from its western entrance after withdrawing at dawn from Tulkarm camp, and imposed a tight siege on it.
They pointed out that the occupation forces imposed a curfew on Tulkarm camp, and prevented citizens from entering or leaving it, until further notice.
They added that the occupation forces deployed their vehicles at a number of the city's intersections, specifically the eastern neighborhood, Nablus Street, Shuwaika Roundabout, Al-Quds Open University Street, and the vicinity of the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, and obstructed the work of ambulances, searched them, and checked the identities of their crews.
Dozens of occupation soldiers were deployed in several neighborhoods of the camp, and their snipers were on the roofs of tall buildings amid heavy gunfire, and low-altitude reconnaissance aircraft were flying over the city’s sky since the first moment of the raid yesterday afternoon, Monday.
During their storming of Tulkarm camp yesterday and this morning, the occupation bulldozers caused great damage to the infrastructure and citizens’ property in all its neighborhoods, including the electricity network, which led to a power outage in large parts of it.
