Mustafa discusses with Dutch Foreign Minister efforts to stop aggression against our people
Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mohammad Mustafa received today, Sunday, in his office in Ramallah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp, where they discussed with him advancing efforts to stop the war of extermination against our people in the Gaza Strip, the attacks of the occupation forces and settlers, and the escalation in the West Bank.
Mustafa stressed the need for the European Union and its countries to take actual and serious steps towards colonial activity and settlers in the West Bank, and to pressure to stop all Israeli measures and the financial and economic siege, stop illegal deductions from Palestinian tax revenues, and release the withheld funds.
The Prime Minister valued the bilateral relations between the two countries, pointing out the importance of strengthening these relations and crowning them with the recognition of the State of Palestine, extending his thanks to the Netherlands for the aid provided to relieve our people in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression.
Mustafa stressed that the government has developed a comprehensive plan to be implemented immediately after the aggression on the Gaza Strip stops, and it is based on urgent relief, in addition to restoring basic services, reintegrating and unifying national institutions, and the comprehensive reconstruction program, pointing out that the government, since the first day of the establishment of the National Authority until today, has been responsible for providing all basic services in the Gaza Strip, including education, health, water, electricity, and daily matters for our people, and it has not been cut off from them.
For his part, the Dutch Foreign Minister stressed the importance of reaching a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, bringing in emergency relief and medical aid, stopping the aggression on the West Bank by the occupation army and settlers, and the importance of preserving and respecting the status quo in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Farseen Aghabekian Shahin, Representative of the Netherlands to Palestine Michelle Rentenaar, Ambassador Amal Jadou, Ambassador Omar Awadallah, and Director of the Government Communication Center Mohammad Abu Al-Rub.
