A plea before the "Criminal Court" demanding that it classify the crimes of the occupation as "organized genocide"
Yesterday, the head of the international team assigned by the Palestinian Bar Association to the Office of the International Prosecutor and the International Criminal Court, Dr. Faisal Khazal, presented his closing arguments, calling on the court to raise the classification of the criminal offence from “genocide” to “organized genocide,” which is punishable by international criminal law and all established international laws, customs, and charters, which are stipulated in the Charter of the United Nations since its founding, the Rome Statute, and the treaty that established the International Criminal Court.
Khazal said in a press statement yesterday, a copy of which was received by Quds.com: “The international team of lawyers had to submit a final memorandum before the International Criminal Court issues its expected decision, which is expected to be next Monday (August 26), so that we can summarize the requests in the basic complaint submitted last year on December 6, 2023 and its annexes over the past months until the tenth annex that was submitted (yesterday) to the International Criminal Court.”
He added: “Today, we also presented a document portfolio containing a chart of the main massacres committed by the defendants since October 2023 until now, without neglecting the rest of the medium and small massacres and the rest of the crimes committed and the various crimes against the defenseless civilians of the Palestinian people, as the chart shows that 43% of the main massacres were committed on Saturdays and Sundays specifically and 38% were committed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which means that it was not only a crime of genocide, but rather an organized crime of genocide, organized by all of the defendants, and not just Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of War Yoav Galant, because all of the defendants formed a council called the (War Council), and they were all distinguished by their membership, which means that they were all involved in committing the crimes.”
