West Bank: Israeli settlers assault Palestinian citizens and a foreign activist in Nablus and Tubas
A citizen was injured, Friday morning, after settlers attacked him near the Awarta checkpoint, south of Nablus.
According to local sources, settlers intercepted his vehicle in the middle of the road, near the Awarta checkpoint, smashed its front and side windows, and assaulted him with sticks and stones.
The citizen suffered a torn retina and bruises to his shoulder, and was transferred to the hospital for treatment.
In Tubas, a group of settlers attacked shepherds in the Al-Juba area, beat up citizen Ahmed Hussein Zahdi Abu Mohsen, and kidnapped him, before he was found in another area near the “Mikhola” settlement, bearing signs of severe beating.
The foreign activist was also attacked by the same group of settlers.
