Jews who reject Zionism and are against the colony

Smotrich, the colony’s finance minister and co-defense minister from the extremist Religious Zionism party, an ally of Likud, addresses the colony’s forces by saying: “Stop talking, and continue the war and killing.” In doing so, he summarizes the colony’s position, policies, and clear orientations in continuing the killing of Palestinian civilians and destroying their property, with the aim of eliminating the Palestinian Arab presence, or at least reducing their numbers by killing or displacing them, as much as possible.

Richard Rubinstein, an American Jewish academic, wrote about “Zionism: The End of an Illusion,” that his father was a leader in the Zionist movement, and played a role in transporting European Jews to Palestine, and supplying the Haganah with smuggled weapons to confront the country’s indigenous Palestinian population. He reviews the 1948 war, saying: “Israeli forces and militias displaced about 750,000 Palestinians from their homeland, and destroyed more than 500 villages. On the pretext that the Palestinian refugees had left their lands voluntarily, the new state—the Israeli colony—refused to accept their return or compensate them for their loss” of their homes and property.

Netanyahu's father, Rubinstein, describes him as a secretary to Jabotinsky, the most extreme figure in the leadership of the Zionist movement, whose ideas were inherited by the Likud party led by Netanyahu, which formed "the most extreme right-wing government in the history of Israel," and that he and his government team treat the Palestinians as "not a people" living in their homeland, and not as human beings with rights.

Richard Rubenstein concludes with an important conclusion: “Every day that the slaughter in Gaza continues makes it clear that Zionism can never again command the loyalty of Jews dedicated to peace and justice, or anyone else committed to developing a humane society,” and he says: “It is time for American Jews to get rid of the Israeli flags that so often fly from the pedestals of their synagogues and temples.”

Yedioth Ahronoth political analyst Nahum Barnea describes Netanyahu as “the one responsible for the greatest failures of Israel – the colony – since its birth, and he is responsible for the fact that after ten months not a single one of the problems that have befallen us since October 7, 2023 has been solved.”

Regarding his speech before Congress on July 24, 2024, Barnea reveals that “the thunderous applause – by representatives and senators – should not mislead us,” and he said that “the empty seats in the Congress hall were a message no less important than the filled seats,” exposing Netanyahu’s delusions by saying: “There was no difference between what he said and what he is doing as prime minister, neither on the Gaza front, nor on the northern front, and especially not in the kidnapped-prisoners deal.”

Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders, a prominent Jewish figure, played a role in the House and Senate boycotting Netanyahu's speech in Congress, describing him as a "war criminal."

Many different Jewish figures boast about their Jewishness, but reject Zionism and the Israeli colony. This is an important new development, which is strategically recorded in favor of the Palestinian people and the justice of their cause, on the path to victory and defeat of the Israeli expansionist colonial project.

Every day that the massacre in Gaza continues makes it clear that Zionism can never again command the loyalty of Jews dedicated to peace and justice.
