Israeli occupation forces launch a large-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank
The Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank at dawn and this Friday morning.
In Jenin, the occupation forces arrested citizen Shaher Siddiq Hussein Rahhal (60 years old) after storming the town, raiding his home, tampering with its contents, and destroying his public vehicle, where he works as a taxi driver.
The occupation forces also arrested a number of young men, including, according to sources, Mahmoud Abu Al-Fahd, Anas Qaqour, from Wadi Izz Al-Din, and Mahmoud Jarar, from Jabal Abu Dhahir.
In Qalqilya, the occupation forces focused their raids on homes claiming that one of their members was “wanted” by them, where they arrested 5 citizens: Ziad Daoud, the father of the wanted Tariq Daoud, to pressure his son to turn himself in. This is the twentieth time he has been arrested for this purpose; Ayman Abu Al-Asal, the father of the wanted Jibril Jibril, to pressure his son to turn himself in; Mahmoud Khalil Abu Bakr, the father of the wanted Ali Abu Bakr; and Ibrahim Abu Haniya, the father of the wanted Jamal Abu Haniya.
In the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, the occupation forces arrested at least 5 citizens, including children, brothers and sisters of the wanted Muawiya Riyashi, to pressure him to turn himself in. They are: Omar, Nada, Taghreed Abdul Latif Riyashi, Saed Hussein, and Mustafa Hassan Salama.
In Nablus, the occupation forces arrested citizen Aed Ghassan Kaabi during their raid from Jerusalem Street east of the city.
It also arrested six citizens from the Habroun family in the Askar al-Jadeed camp after raiding and searching their homes. They are: Izz Hussein Saber, Hussein Saber, Baraa Hussein, Hisham Bassam, Hussam Saber, and Adi Hussein.
In Bethlehem, the occupation forces detained Yousef Ibrahim Abdullah Alian and Hussein Mahmoud Hussein Abayat for long hours while they were herding sheep in the village of Kisan to the east.
In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested the citizens: Hassan Saber Burqan, Bassam Sobhi Abu Sneineh, and Zakaria Radwan Abu Sneineh, and searched their homes and ransacked their contents. They also searched commercial stores and several homes in the southern region.
In Jericho, the occupation forces arrested the child Hassan Raed Hassan Abu Zaid (16 years old), a student in the eleventh grade, and the young man Hussein Al-Haik, both from Ein Sultan camp, and the citizen Ahmed Mutie Abu Riya, a resident of Aqabat Jaber camp, noting that he is a former detainee who was released by the occupation two months ago.
