Israeli occupation forces launch an arrest campaign in the West Bank

At dawn and early Monday morning, the Israeli occupation forces launched an arrest campaign in various areas in the West Bank.


In Tulkarm, the occupation forces arrested the young man, Moaz Abu Sariya, while he was passing near the Jabara Bridge, south of the city.


The occupation forces had set up a “flying” checkpoint under the Jabara Bridge, stopped passing vehicles, searched them, and checked the identities of their passengers.


They also arrested the young man, Muhammad Abdel Karim Atatreh, after raiding his family’s home and tampering with its contents in the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin.


In this context, the occupation authorities informed that they will close the Tora military checkpoint to citizens who live in the villages of Umm al-Rihan, Dahr al-Malih, and Khirbet al-Raadiya, adjacent to the village of Tora, starting tomorrow morning, Tuesday, which will force citizens to use roads and long distances.


In Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the town of Jama'in, raided a number of homes and a car showroom, and arrested three citizens: Diya Musa Abdullah, and the two brothers Ismail and Yassin Hussein Medina, while they detained a number of young men for hours and conducted a field investigation with them before releasing them.


Also, 100,000 shekels in cash and checks worth 150,000 shekels were stolen from citizen Obaida Sami Haj, after he was detained for hours.


In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested the two brothers, Mahmoud and Ali Suleiman, after raiding their house and tampering with its contents in the town of Turmus Aya.


In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested four citizens of Yatta, Youssef Khalil Zein, his son Fayez, and the two brothers Anas and Ibrahim Bahaa Zein, after raiding and searching their homes.


The occupation forces raided the house of the secretary of the "Fatah" movement in Yatta, Nabil Abu Qubaita, and severely beat Iyad's sister and his son, Saddam, searched his house and destroyed its contents.
