Hamas spokesman: Netanyahu is creating more obstacles to the ceasefire negotiations

Walid Kilani, spokesman for the Hamas movement in Lebanon, confirmed that Hamas and the Palestinian resistance are offering flexibility and high positivity to facilitate reaching an agreement to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

He added that Netanyahu is placing more obstacles to the negotiations and escalating his aggression and crimes against the Palestinian people, all in order to thwart all efforts aimed at reaching any agreement.

He said that the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip and the displacement of the Palestinian people from north to south, through which Netanyahu aims to buy more time and is delaying and evading to thwart the efforts of the mediators to reach a truce and ceasefire.

Kilani confirmed that Netanyahu is in deep trouble, pointing out that there is a dispute between the Israeli military level and the political level. The military wants a truce and a ceasefire because it has been exhausted and has a problem with equipment, soldiers, and supplies for the soldiers.

He continued: “But the political level and Netanyahu want to continue the war because after 9 months he was unable to achieve the goals of the battle, and therefore he wants to buy time because the ceasefire is Netanyahu’s political end, and after that he will go to trial and then to prison.”

Gaza faces annihilation

The occupation continues its bombing of various areas of the Gaza Strip, for the 277th day, leaving hundreds of martyrs and wounded.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7 has risen to 38,243 martyrs, the majority of whom are women and children, and 88,333 wounded.

The ministry said, in a statement, that the occupation committed, during the past 24 hours, 3 massacres against entire families in the Gaza Strip, killing 50 martyrs and 130 injured.

The Ministry added that there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation is preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
