Blatant hostility and antagonism from the US House of Representatives
The American Congress has bared its fangs against the Palestinian people, and against everyone who supports or supports the struggle of this people for freedom, dignity, and independence. This Council, which claims to defend democracy, justice, and individual and collective rights, and to protect civilization and its manifestations as a guardian and merciful state, grant rights, and circulate... Authority, freedom of civil society, freedom of expression, movement, property, etc.
This Council, which claims that it has reached the pinnacle of human civilization on the material and moral levels, and that it represents the bright side of history, stands with all its strength and all its consensus against a small, poor people who have been under siege for almost more than a hundred years, a people who only ask of the international community to live freely, in dignity, and as masters. On his land and the land of his ancestors, but the American Congress, which includes several hundred members who represent the wealth, ideology, and interests of a capitalist system that has reached the point of glut and the rage of greed, knows how, when, and where to turn, and they know how and what price they have offered and will offer in order to retain their seats in the Council.
This Council declares its hostility and antagonism to the Palestinian people, in an unprecedented way since the eighth of October until the present day, and we understand this hostility and antagonism, because mafias, interest forces, pressure groups, and multi-colored lobbies with purposes and objectives, whether overt or secret, can recruit whatever members they want. To make whatever decisions you want, and it is clear that the American democratic system was originally designed to allow all these forces and lobbies to influence, rent, or buy, and the bitter conflict that took place between Democratic candidate Jamal Bowman and his party rival Latimer for New York State was the best example of what we say, where AIPAC paid more than $25 million to demonize Bowman, so that voters were exposed to more than six attack ads daily, which created the impression that Bowman was a flawed individual and an unworthy candidate. One observer said that if Bowman’s mother had seen these ads, she would not have elected her son.
What happened in the state of New York is a very exaggerated microcosm of how members of Congress are elected in its two chambers, which leads to say that the power, ability and control of the multiple lobbies to control the American decision regarding the relevant decisions is almost limitless. We say this to conclude that what the United States claims of democracy and liberalism is paid for, recruited for agendas, and subject to interests, and has nothing to do with all the lies it pumps upon us, and this year’s elections are the best evidence of that, when two people compete in it, one of whom is convicted of crimes. The other is a criminal, and the other is of questionable mental capacity, and they compete for loyalty to Israel without batting an eyelid, as if loyalty to Israel is more important than loyalty to America.
We say this on the occasion of the US House of Representatives voting by 269 votes to 144 votes on an amendment prohibiting the US State Department from citing statistics on the number of martyrs and wounded Palestinians issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
The meaning of this vote is that the US House of Representatives does not recognize genocide, does not want to see what is happening in the Gaza Strip, and does not believe what is happening at all, and thus gives Israel everything it wants in terms of time, ammunition, and political, security, and moral coverage. This resolution is in addition to other resolutions taken by this council against the slogan “From the river to the sea - Palestine will be liberated,” as well as a resolution against university presidents who did not prevent demonstrations in their universities, as well as the resolution related to forcing the American president to give Israel whatever ammunition it wants without delay. .
The US House of Representatives, which took a decision not to recognize the Palestinian victim, and not to believe it either, and to be satisfied with the occupier’s narrative, only demonstrates for the umpteenth time that the United States is failing in most of its policies, the sole aim of which is to secure its interests, protect its allies, and plunder the people’s wealth without paying attention to what it claims. Flashy logos do not stand the first test.
