Israel arrests 15 citizens from the West Bank and Jerusalem
From yesterday evening until Tuesday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least (15) citizens from the West Bank, including former detainee Yasmine Shaaban, who was later released.
The arrests were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Nablus, Tubas, and Jerusalem, and were accompanied by acts of abuse, assaults, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes, and field investigation operations that centered in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.
Thus, the total number of arrests after the seventh of last October rose to more than (8,815) cases, and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces continue to implement systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedented manner after October 7, not only in terms of the level of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed.
