"Wall Street Journal": Egypt is considering reducing relations with Israel
The Wall Street Journal revealed today (Tuesday) that Egypt is considering reducing and cooling diplomatic relations with Israel due to the military operations in Rafah.
According to the newspaper, Cairo is considering the possibility of withdrawing the Egyptian ambassador from Tel Aviv.
An Egyptian source told the newspaper: “Until these moments, there are no plans to suspend relations with Israel or destroy Camp David, but as long as Israeli forces remain at the Rafah crossing, Egypt will not send a single aid truck to the crossing.
Meanwhile, Egypt announced this week that it would join and support the lawsuit filed by South Africa against Israel in The Hague, following recent Israeli actions in Rafah.
