Egypt demands an international investigation into the massacres and mass graves in the Gaza Strip
Egypt demanded the necessity of conducting an international investigation, after revealing massacres and mass graves committed by the Israeli occupation army, in the courtyards of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, stressed the need for immediate intervention by the international community to stop violations and conduct the necessary investigations to hold perpetrators accountable.
He said: It is regrettable and disgraceful that international law and human values continue to be violated so crudely in the twenty-first century, in full view of all countries of the world, relevant international organizations and the Security Council.
Abu Zeid condemned the repeated Israeli violations of the provisions of international law and international humanitarian law in the Gaza Strip, which affect unarmed civilians, displaced persons, and medical personnel.
He added that the killing, destruction and violence witnessed in the West Bank over the past weeks is no less crude and dangerous, and further aggravates the crisis and threatens to explode the situation in the entire occupied Palestinian territory, calling for an immediate end to the violence and attacks carried out by the colonists, protecting the occupation forces, against Palestinian civilians.
