Today, Friday, a young man was killed by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets while continuing their aggression against Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm.
Two Israeli soldiers were slightly injured by bullet fragments fired during clashes in the camp. According to what was announced by Israeli Army Radio.
The Israeli forces, accompanied by two bulldozers, stormed the camp yesterday evening and imposed a tight siege on it.
The destruction, which has continued for about 17 hours, included the main streets, alleys, water and sewage networks, and the walls of homes, shops, and commercial establishments.
The acts of vandalism were concentrated in the neighborhoods of: Al-Manshiya, Al-Shuhada, Al-Wad, School Square, Jabal Al-Nasr, Al-Salehin, the center of the camp, and Al-Jami’ neighborhood, in which the occupation used two heavy-duty bulldozers that demolished the walls of a number of houses, the wall of a kindergarten, and parts of other houses during an attempt to storm the neighborhood. Al-Mansheya.
The Israeli bulldozers also demolished shops and commercial warehouses in the camp square belonging to the families of Al-Da'mah, Sheikh Majid, Abu Al-Rub, Amarna, Shehada, and Al-Misbah, and closed the entrances to the camp square next to the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque, and in the schools street, with dirt barriers. The Israeli soldiers also burned "the flags." "which covers the camp yard.
Likewise, the Israeli forces raided dozens of citizens’ homes in the neighborhoods of the camp, specifically Al-Manshiya, after removing their doors. They searched them, interrogated their residents, detained some families in one room, turned several homes into military barracks and places for snipers, and prevented ambulances from entering the camp to transport sick cases to the hospital. It caused the death of an elderly man who had fallen ill and was unable to be transported to the hospital at the time. A young man was also injured by shrapnel and was transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, where his condition was described as stable.
In the same context, the Israeli forces later arrested three other young men, bringing the number of detainees to six, after raiding their homes in various neighborhoods in the city of Tulkarm. They are: Alaa Al-Tamouni from Ezbet Al-Jarad, east of the city, and Asid Taha from the Shweika suburb in the north, who was attacked by the occupation’s police dogs. During the arrest, Lotfi Laymoun from the town of Attil, north of the governorate, Muhammad Hussam Al-Ajouz, Qais Saed Al-Ajouz, and Muhammad Izzat Jaber from the Aktaba housing neighborhood opposite the camp. The occupation soldiers also assaulted and beat the citizen Yazan Al-Ajouz, after which he was taken to the hospital.
The Israeli forces pushed more military reinforcements from the western axis of the city towards the camp, while reconnaissance planes flew overhead, amidst the imposition of a tight siege on the suburbs of Dhanaba and Aktaba, which are adjacent to the entrances to the camp, in addition to heavy gunfire at citizens and their homes.
Also, the Israeli forces shot dead a group of journalists while they were in the Aktaba suburb, covering the storming of the camp, but no casualties were reported.
