Updated:: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 33,797
The Ministry of Health announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 33,797, the majority of whom were children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on the 7th of last October.
The same sources added that the death toll has risen to 76,465 since the start of the aggression, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
It pointed out that Israeli forces committed 7 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 68 deaths arrived at hospitals, and 94 injuries, during the past 24 hours.
It explained that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
According to local sources, at least a citizen and a girl were killed, while a number of others were injured, this morning, as hundreds of displaced people attempted to return from the south of the Gaza Strip to its north.
The Israeli forces fired shells and live bullets at citizens near the Wadi Gaza Bridge.
Meanwhile, warplanes bombed a house for the Al-Shashniya family, east of Al-Maghazi, causing several injuries.
Last night, a number of citizens were injured as a result of an attack targeting the vicinity of the European Hospital, south of Khan Yunis.
Aircraft also targeted a commercial warehouse near the western-southern entrance to the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
At least one young man was killed in shooting from drones last night, north of the Nuseirat camp.
