Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Mustafa presented the government's work program and the proposed formation list to the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, in order to gain confidence in accordance with the Basic Law to approve its formation.

Accordingly, the President issued a decree-law granting confidence to the nineteenth government and issued a decree approving its formation.

The government will be sworn in before the President next Sunday, 3/31/2024.

The government's program confirmed that the government's political reference is the Palestine Liberation Organization, its political program, its international commitments, and the letter of assignment addressed to the government by President Mahmoud Abbas.

The government's program included working to give the humanitarian situation a top priority, including developing a comprehensive plan for humanitarian aid and immediate relief for our people in the Gaza Strip, recovery and reconstruction in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and focusing efforts aimed at consolidating and stabilizing the financial situation and its reflection on economic stability.

It also includes plans for institutional reform, restructuring and unifying institutions, fighting corruption, raising the level of services and digital transformation, unifying institutions and restructuring institutions between the two parts of the country.

The government's work program includes an item on the rule of law, enhancing the integrity of the financial sector, including empowering the judiciary, enhancing security and safety, and ensuring public freedoms.

It also included strengthening steadfastness in occupied Jerusalem, the Jordan Valley and marginalized areas, continuing work to preserve the Christian and Islamic sanctities in the city, and developing plans and programs to reconnect the city with all Palestinians.
