Egyptian television reported, quoting an intelligence source, that "major progress was made yesterday in the cease-fire talks between Israel and Hamas."

According to the source, the efforts to reach an agreement will continue until the beginning of Ramadan on March 10.

The report contradicts the Israeli position that Hamas has not yet responded to the main Israeli demands: obtaining a list of the names of the living Israeli prisoners who will be released as part of the agreement, and clarifying Hamas's position regarding the key by which the Palestinian prisoners will be released, and their number for each Israeli prisoner.
