War on Netanyahu and the war cabinet..

The gap is widening and deepening towards a major and comprehensive disagreement within Israeli war cabinet in light of the lack of clear visions and perceptions for the day after the war and the form of leadership that will take over, and the decisions that Netanyahu takes in isolation from the ministers or in coordination with the war cabinet without taking into account the opinion of the political and security cabinet, despite the strategic decisions related to the war and aggression against the Strip, it is supposed to reach everyone.

After the recent American statements about the end of the ground war and the transition to other goals, and the necessity of increasing the volume of humanitarian aid that must enter the people in the Gaza Strip, yesterday Netanyahu quickly made statements from an Israeli Air Force base in Naftim in the Negev to the effect that the war may slide into the year 2025 and that its goals are to eliminate Hamas, preventing any threat from Gaza to Israel, and releasing all those detained by the resistance.

Statements we have become accustomed to, since the beginning of the war, but this time they confirm Netanyahu’s acquiescence to the most extreme party in his government after a strong letter sent to his office by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir for not involving him in the decisions, especially the decision to bring medicine into Gaza and the controversy it sparked between Ben Gvir and Netanyahu on the one hand and Gallant, the Minister of Defense, and Netanyahu, on the other hand, in addition to the pressure exerted by Benny Gantz on Netanyahu not to give up the issue of control over the Philadelphia axis, and these and other issues, as the Israeli media monitors, will be decisive and will lead to ending the cabinet’s military role as quickly as possible.

Netanyahu has not achieved any of the goals of the war, and it is clear that he is floundering and his ideas are taking him to the arms of the extreme right to save what can be saved before it is too late and before his political future is eliminated.

Hence, it was not strange that he appeared to us yesterday with these statements that confirm that he is devoid of any real idea. All he wants is for this war to continue on Gaza and perhaps on the West Bank for the longest time, in order to postpone his trial and what awaits him from Israeli public opinion, which feels greatly disturbed by the failure of Netanyahu and his camp to release the hostages until this moment.

What we can see and what is clear from the equations on the ground is that the withdrawal of army units from the northern Gaza Strip did not come in vain, especially since it was accompanied by clear statements from Army Minister Gallant, who is no longer able to cooperate well with Netanyahu, and it has become clear that in every situation Netanyahu goes. To raise the dispute with Gallant as the inventory of accounts nears the end of the war, which we believe is approaching the finish line, but Netanyahu’s recent statements in which he prevented Gallant from seeing the details of the process of bringing the medicine into the Gaza Strip, after a long series of contact with Gallant and changing Netanyahu’s opinion regarding the exchange deal. What is scheduled to be implemented if the negotiations succeed confirms that Netanyahu is working for himself and to protect his strategic position as prime minister, away from the opinions and concerns of the ministers, but he will find an inevitable end with his removal from the political track and perhaps his trial in more than one case.
