US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that there is no military solution regarding the fate of the Hamas movement, while there is an attempt by the administration of President Joe Biden to prepare for a post-Netanyahu government.

This came according to what NBC reported, citing American officials, who stressed that “the divisions between the Biden administration and Netanyahu have become more apparent since Blinken’s visit to Israel.”

The network reported that "During Blinken's visit, Netanyahu rejected all of Washington's requests, except not to attack Hezbollah."

American officials said, "Blinken informed Netanyahu that there is no military solution regarding the fate of Hamas, and Israel must acknowledge this."

The report noted that "the Biden administration is looking beyond Netanyahu to achieve its goals in the region."

The officials added, "The Biden administration is trying to prepare, with other Israeli leaders, to form a post-Netanyahu government."

The NBC report noted that Blinken obtained a pledge from the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, and four other Arab leaders to help rebuild Gaza after the war.

According to the report, the four Arab leaders agreed to support a new Palestinian government in the Gaza Strip, while the Saudi Crown Prince offered to normalize relations with Israel as part of an agreement that includes the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and the condition of establishing a Palestinian state.

The website quoted three American officials, whom it described as high-ranking, that the Biden administration is looking forward to “the day after Netanyahu” to try to achieve its goals in the Middle East.

The same officials told NBC that Netanyahu "will not be there forever."
