OCHA warns that not enough aid is reaching northern Gaza
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Gaza said that only 5 shipments of 24 humanitarian aid that were scheduled to arrive in the region in the first 11 days of this year had arrived in the northern Gaza Strip.
The UN office stated that the Israeli occupation refused to allow the entry of several shipments to resupply medicine and supplies into Gaza City.
Other convoys that were supposed to deliver food, drinking water and other necessary supplies, as well as medicines, did not pass, and the shipments were stopped for long periods at checkpoints of the occupation forces or because the roads through which they were approved were not suitable for vehicles to pass.
