At dawn today, Friday, a boy was killed and at least 7 citizens were injured by live bullets, in the town of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah, in an ambush set up by occupation soldiers against young men.

The Ministry of Health confirmed the death of the boy Usayd Tariq Anis Al-Rimawi (17 years old), a high school student, after being hit by a bullet in the chest, while sources at Salfit Hospital confirmed the arrival of 7 people wounded by occupation bullets from the town of Beit Rima.

Sources in the town reported that the young men were injured in an ambush set up by the occupation soldiers, who arrested a number of other young men, noting that the majority of the injuries were transferred to Salfit Governmental Hospital.

The sources indicated that the occupation soldiers raided several homes, broke the doors of commercial stores, and destroyed one of the cafes in the town, while confrontations broke out between young men and the occupation forces following the raid.

The occupation forces stormed the town at dawn, sent their vehicles and foot patrols through several neighborhoods, and were stationed in the center of the town and in the municipality area.
