Israel has arrested 3,200 citizens of the West Bank since last October 7
The Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 20 citizens from the West Bank from yesterday evening until Sunday morning. The arrests were concentrated in Jenin and Hebron, while the rest of the arrests were distributed in the governorates of Ramallah and Tulkarm.
According to the Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, the arrest campaign was accompanied by widespread raids and abuse, specifically in Jenin Governorate, in addition to sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes, and severe beatings against citizens and their families, in addition to the ongoing crime of field executions.
Thus, the total number of arrests after the seventh of last October rose to more than (3,200), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases includes those who were kept in detention by the occupation, and those who were later released.
