“Song of Evil”...a clip for Israeli children calling for the “extermination of Gaza”
A song titled “Children of the Victory Generation” by a group of young people in Israel has recently spread on Hebrew social media platforms, in which they urge the occupation soldiers to annihilate everything in Gaza.
The official Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, Kan, broadcast the song under the title “We will annihilate everyone in Gaza,” but it was later forced to delete the clip after it sparked angry international responses.
The lyrics of the song "Children of the Victory Generation" express support for the Israeli army soldiers and security forces, and urge children in Israel in particular, and all Jews in general, to destroy the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
The Israeli Authority described the racist song as a “friendship song,” stressing that “its new words express the children of the victorious generation, and that within a year there will be nothing left there (referring to the annihilation of everything in Gaza), and these children will return to their homes (the Gaza envelope settlements).” The world will watch how we eliminate our enemy (the Palestinians).”
According to Hebrew media, the new song is a modified version of the song “Evils,” written by the late Israeli Haim Guri.
The new version of the song is performed by Israeli children between the ages of 6 and 12, and “all of these children were evacuated from their homes in the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip about 45 days ago,” according to the Hebrew media.
The new song was processed and produced by the Rosenbaum Communications Group, and its lyrics were written by Ofer Rosenbaum and Shulamit Stolero, who stressed their keenness not to change the chorus (musical band) of the song “Evils,” which is known in every home in Israel.
The author of the new song, Ofer Rosenbaum, told Hebrew media, “The children of the clip are the generation of victory. These children stand strong, proud, and love their country. They have only one request, which will not be repeated again: The State of Israel owes them, their families, and all citizens security, and we will not achieve this.” Security can only be achieved by achieving complete victory in Gaza without any concessions.”
One of the children participating in the song, Aden Nizov (11 years old), from the Sderot settlement, said, “I know and believe that our soldiers will defeat the terrorists, my city will return and flourish, and I will be able to return to my home.”
The new song included an explicit call for genocide under the name “friendship,” interspersed with scenes in which tears were shed and funerals were held for soldiers, and in which the air raids on Gaza were likened to autumn.
The song's video received harsh criticism and sparked widespread controversy, as activists considered that Israel's drift and persistence in its crimes had reached the point of inciting hatred in the words of its children as well, deploring the humanity that the song's lyrics lacked.
Israeli Journalist Dan Cohen, through his account on the “X” platform, wondered why the occupation indoctrinates children with hatred.
While geopolitical analyst Patrick Henningsen commented, "Americans need to understand that Zionism is a racist and genocidal ideology, just like any other movement or sect of racial superiority."
Activist Lima Pal said, “What children learn from the methods of war is to give priority to destruction and killing, and to support war and genocide!”
Children in the Gaza Strip are subjected to severe suffering as a result of the war waged by the Israeli occupation on the Strip, as thousands of them were martyred and injured due to the violent bombing targeting homes, schools and hospitals.
The tragedy of children in Gaza increases in light of the stifling Israeli siege and the starvation policy practiced by the occupation against them, as it cut off electricity, water and food from them.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) condemned the grave violations to which children in the Gaza Strip were exposed during the Israeli war, and stressed that there is no safe place for them to seek refuge, and that the number of children killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war exceeded 5,000, while the number of young children injured exceeded 9. Thousands.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell stated that violations against Gaza's children include killing, mutilation, kidnapping, targeting schools and hospitals, and preventing the arrival of humanitarian aid, all of which are condemned by the international organization.
