An Israeli official: The tour has not ended, and there is no justification for holding Adnan's body

A senior Israeli official said, on Wednesday morning, that despite the ceasefire and the return to normal on the Gaza Strip front, it is too early to assess whether this round is behind us and has ended.

The official denied - as reported by the Hebrew website Ynet - that Israel had agreed to a cease-fire, claiming that Hamas and Islamic Jihad were forced to stop firing rockets, and the Israeli army contented itself with attacking the positions of the two movements.

The official said: "In any case, it is still too early to say that the tour is over."

In response to a question about the possibility of handing over the body of Sheikh Khader Adnan, the official said: "There is absolutely no obligation to return his body, but on the other hand, there is no justification or any criteria that meet or justify the detention of his body."
