Awawdeh (40 years), from the town of Ithna, Hebron district, enters his 138th day of strike, as he was on strike for 111 days, suspended his strike for only a week, and returned to the strike after the prison administration refused to find a solution to his case and renewed his administrative transfer for a period of 4 months, which is the renewal his second.
Dozens of prisoners declared their strike in solidarity with the prisoner, Awadeh.
The Captive Club confirmed in a statement that the prisoner Awadeh is facing death, in light of difficult health conditions that are exacerbating with the passage of time.
The prisoner, Raed Rayan, had announced yesterday the suspension of his strike after reaching an agreement not to renew his administrative detention, and therefore after 113 days of the strike.
