On Wednesday, Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman discussed with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon and ways to reduce escalation in the region.
This came during a phone call made by Bin Abdulrahman (who holds the position of Prime Minister) with Araqchi, according to a statement by the Qatari Foreign Ministry.
The ministry said, "During the call, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them."
The two sides also discussed "the latest developments in the region, especially in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, and ways to de-escalate."
