Evacuation operations from Gaza have been suspended since yesterday after an Israeli strike on ambulances
Two Egyptian security sources and a third medical source told Reuters that evacuations of injured residents of the Gaza Strip and holders of foreign passports through the Fah crossing to Egypt have been suspended since Saturday.
A security source and a medical source explained that the suspension of evacuations came after an Israeli strike on Friday on ambulances in Gaza that were being used to transport the injured.
The Rafah crossing leading to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt is the only exit port into Gaza that is not controlled by Israel.
Two of the sources said that aid trucks were still able to enter Gaza.
