Israeli forces demolished facilities in Al-Khader, including two ancient houses
Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished several facilities in the “Shushahla” site in the town of Al-Khader, under the pretext of not having a license, in a move that activists from the town described as a massacre, taking advantage of the current situation related to the war being waged in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
In this regard, these forces demolished two ancient houses built about a hundred years ago, the first belonging to the citizen Omar Al-Afandi and the second to the citizen Khaled Abdel Fattah. These forces also demolished agricultural rooms used by their owners for agricultural purposes and belonged to Muhammad Ali Salah, Munther Abdel Sheikh, Mahmoud Ghazi Salah, and Lotfy. Salah, and Ali Salah.
Activist against the wall and settlements in the town, Ahmed Salah, said in an interview with Al-Quds.com that the occupation bulldozers also uprooted at least about 50 fruit trees of olives, vines, and almonds.
He noted that the "Shushahla" area, which is a khirbet belonging to Al-Khader, contains archaeological buildings belonging to citizens of the town. He has targeted them over the past years, and has previously expelled and vandalized anyone who repairs and restores his home in endless attempts to confiscate the lands of this khirbet and annex it to the nearby settlement outposts.
