Today, Friday, the activities and forces of the city of Jenin, its camp, and its towns participated in massive, angry marches and a halt called for by the Fatah movement in the Jenin region and the National and Islamic Action factions, denouncing the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against our people, and the massacres being committed in the Gaza Strip.

The massive marches, entitled “A Friday of Resilience and Loyalty to the Martyrs, and Support and Support for Our People in Gaza, Glory,” began after Friday prayers, from the Grand Mosque in Jenin, with the participation of activities and forces from the villages and towns of the governorate, and a similar march from the camp towards the center of Jenin city, and a support stand opposite the Grand Mosque.

The participants chanted slogans denouncing the crimes of the occupation and its ongoing massacres against our people in the Gaza Strip, and calling for national unity and activating popular resistance to confront these crimes.

A massive march was also launched in the town of Ya'bad after Friday prayers and moved through the streets of the town.

Participants in the marches denounced the international silence regarding the massacres against our people, calling on all free people in the world to stand by our people who are being subjected to genocide and organized massacres by the occupation government, stressing the necessity of national cohesion, which is the solid rock for our people to be able to confront these massacres.

They called on the international community to provide protection for our people and stop the open war waged by the occupation against them.

In a related context, confrontations broke out with the Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of Salem camp near the villages of Rummana and Zabuba, west of Jenin, and in the vicinity of the “Mira Merav” settlement established on the lands of the village of Jalboun, northeast of Jenin, and another near the “Dotan” military checkpoint, and the “Shaked” settlement near The village of Al-Arqa, during which they fired live bullets and tear gas and stun grenades.
