Palestinian Foreign Affairs: Israel commits crime of cutting off supplies from the Gaza Strip

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Tuesday that Israel is committing the crime of cutting off basic needs from the Gaza Strip under the cover of international parties.

In a statement, the Ministry condemned the decision of the occupation authorities to cut off the basic needs of Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip and prevent access to them, including water, electricity, food, medical supplies, and fuel, in flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law, the Geneva Conventions, and the obligations of the occupying state.

The Ministry called on the UN Security Council, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and all parties to assume their responsibilities in stopping this aggression against our people immediately, lifting all forms of collective punishment, and ensuring that basic needs reach our people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

It also condemned the boasting of a number of Israeli ministers with these racist positions, including the statements of the Minister of the Occupying Army, which express a state of loss of balance, in blatant disregard for the principles of human rights, with unlimited cover from a number of countries, which the occupying state exploits to commit brutal massacres against civilian citizens. Isolated people, including children, women, patients, journalists, and medical and ambulance crews.
