The head of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, held the racist Israeli occupation government fully responsible for the attacks and bombings taking place in the Gaza Strip.

Fattouh said in a statement issued by the National Council, today, Saturday, that Israel’s rejection of any political process to bring about peace, its continued denial of the rights of our people, its failure to recognize the existence of a Palestinian people as Netanyahu reviewed in his recent speech at the United Nations, the legitimization of new settlement outposts, and the illegal seizure On the occupied Palestinian land, giving the colonialists the green light to kill Palestinians and protecting them from any legal accountability, the daily killings and executions in Palestinian cities and towns, the repeated raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the attacks on worshipers, ignited the region and exploded the powder keg that we have repeatedly warned the right-wing government about.

Fattouh, who is now in Gaza, added that our people are one in the Palestinian territories and the diaspora, and they have the right to defend themselves and their land, and protect their sanctities, and resistance is a legitimate right for all peoples who are subject to occupation and persecution, including the Palestinian people, the only people who suffer from the racism and fascism of the occupation. .

Fattouh called for urgent intervention from the Security Council and the United Nations to protect the Palestinian people and oblige Israel to respect international resolutions and conventions that protect civilians in times of war and conflict.

The Revolutionary Council of the Fatah movement also affirmed the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves within the framework of their national unity, which must be preserved by all parties on the Palestinian scene, and that Fatah is involved in defending our people everywhere.

The Revolutionary Council stressed the need to deepen cohesion in this heroic battle, hoping that everyone would defend our villages, towns, cities and everywhere against the attacks of the occupation and its settlers.

Our people have presented successive heroics since the beginning of the revolution on January 1, 1965, and the subsequent victory in the Battle of Karama, and the heroics of our people in Ashqif Castle and their successive uprisings in order to gain freedom and independence.

Our people are defending their Islamic, Christian, and Al-Aqsa sanctities in light of the continued violations of the occupation and settlers against them in the face of suspicious international silence, as the government of Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, and Smotrich unleashed the fascist settlers to rampage and kill against our defenseless people, their sanctities, and their prisoners in the occupation’s prisons.
