Updated: Injuries and burning of Palestinian homes during clashes with Israeli army in West Bank
Two citizens were injured by live bullets and five others suffocated, and two houses were burned, this Saturday evening, in a settler attack on the village of Yasuf, east of Salfit.
Local sources reported that settlers from the “Tafouh” settlement, established on citizens’ lands, under the protection of the occupation forces, attacked citizens’ homes on the eastern side of the village and burned two houses, which led to confrontations breaking out between them and the residents who confronted them, during which two citizens were injured by live bullets and taken to the hospital. And five others suffocated with toxic tear gas.

Local and medical sources reported that the occupation forces fired live bullets at the young men during the confrontations, which resulted in a young man being hit with live bullets in the head, and his injury was described as serious, and another with live bullets in the hand and foot, and his injury was described as moderate, and they were both taken to the hospital.
The occupation forces had closed the northern entrance to Jericho earlier today and prevented citizens from leaving through it, as part of the collective punishment policy they impose to restrict citizens.
In the occupied city of Jerusalem, the Israeli occupation forces arrested six citizens and assaulted residents in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested four citizens from the city of Jerusalem: the editor, Tariq Al-Kurd, Fahmi Salaymeh, Muhammad Al-Ajlouni, and Ahmed Al-Julani, after beating them in the Old City.
The occupation forces also stormed the western neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah and assaulted the young man, Ahmed Al-Sao, broke his hand, and arrested him. They also arrested Muhammad Abu Dawla while he was in the neighborhood.
