Dozens of Israeli settlers attack a Palestinian town of Huwwara, northern West Bank
On Thursday, dozens of Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians in the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
Eyewitnesses reported that settlers spread out on the main road in the town of Huwwara, amid acts of orgy and provocation, and attempts to attack Palestinians and their homes, with the protection of occupation soldiers.
Palestinian sources indicated that extremist Israeli Knesset member Zvi Scott set up a tent in the middle of the town, under the pretext of ensuring protection for the settlers.
Earlier tonight, a young Palestinian man was killed by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in the town of Huwwara.
Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces shot a young man after surrounding him in a building near Al-Zaytouna roundabout, in the center of the town, and prevented ambulance crews from reaching him, leaving him to bleed until he died as a martyr. They seized his body and transported it by an Israeli ambulance.
Earlier, the occupation forces forced shop owners in Huwwara to close their doors, and tightened their procedures at the military checkpoints spread around the city of Nablus, which led to stifling traffic jams.
