Palestinian Injuries and arrests in massive raids in West Bank

A number of citizens were injured, and a number of others were arrested, at dawn and Thursday morning, during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of several areas of the West Bank.


The eastern region of Nablus was the center of a large Israeli military operation to secure the incursions of thousands of settlers into the Shrine of Joseph.


The occupation forces stormed Balata camp and several areas of eastern Nablus, amid violent armed clashes with resistance groups, and confrontations with dozens of young men who confronted those forces with stones and Molotov cocktails.


He heard violent explosions from time to time as a result of resistance members detonating explosive devices, as well as the occupation bombing other targets, especially inside the Balata camp.


The Red Crescent stated that its crews dealt with 4 injuries from live bullets, several injuries from rubber bullets, and dozens from suffocation due to the occupation forces’ use of gas bombs in a large barrage.


The occupation forces deliberately caused great damage to citizens’ property, and their bulldozers crushed at least one vehicle in Balata camp, and bulldozed some roads.


The young man, Amid Nasr Sawalma, from Balata camp, was arrested after his house was stormed and its contents vandalized.


Meanwhile, Tulkarm camp witnessed armed clashes after the occupation forces stormed the camp.


The occupation forces raided several homes amid violent clashes, where soldiers were seen transporting an injured person who appeared to be one of their soldiers.


In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested the young man, Obaida Nidal Amr, from Wadi al-Hariya in Hebron, after raiding his house and searching for two hours.


The occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Samu in Hebron, and raided several homes there, without any arrests being reported.


Other forces also stormed the town of Beitunia in Ramallah, and raided a house there.
