Israeli Gilboa prison administration isolates Palestinian prisoner Hossam Omar

The Prisoner's Club said today, Wednesday, that the Gilboa prison administration had removed the general director of the Fatah movement in Gilboa prison, the prisoner Hossam Youssef Omar, after the massive raid carried out by the repressive forces into sections (1 and 3), with the participation of a minister. Israeli National Security Agency, Itamar Ben Gvir, and the ensuing confrontation inside the prison.


The Prisoners' Club pointed out that there is a state of tension witnessed in various prisons, in light of the escalating aggression against prisoners, including storming, transferring, and isolating, and the continuing attempt of the occupation government and its fascist minister to impose measures that affect the prisoners' achievements and rights.


It is noteworthy that the prisoner Omar, from Tulkarm, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison, and has been detained since 2002. During his years of detention, he was subjected to isolation for several years and went on a hunger strike against his isolation, and three of his brothers were subjected to arrest.


The Prisoners' Club held the occupation prison administration fully responsible for the fate of prisoner Omar and all the prisoners in Gilboa prison.
