Teacher Iyad Al-Souki from Jenin Boys’ Basic School in Jenin Education qualified as one of the 50 best teachers in the world, as part of the Global Teacher Award organized by the Varkey Foundation.

The Ministry of Education confirmed in a statement issued this evening, Wednesday, that this new achievement coincides with the current preparations to commemorate the activities of World Teachers’ Day, which demonstrates the excellence of our male and female teachers and the high confidence in the educational cadres who are at the forefront of the educational scene in all forums, despite the challenges ahead.

“Education” called for every possible effort to be made; To support the market teacher and ensure that he reaches the title of the first teacher in the world, expressing his appreciation to all the supporting staff and bodies that support every effort that would enhance the presence of the Palestinian teacher and his access to advanced positions; In a way that ensures the elevation of Palestine’s name in scientific and academic forums, regionally and internationally.

The Ministry indicated that it had invited teachers and motivated them to participate in this global competition.
