Israeli courts reject appeal of Palestinian administrative detainee Kayed Al-Fafsous
Today, Wednesday, the Israeli Military Court in Ofer rejected the appeal of administrative detainee Kayed Fasfous, who has been on a hunger strike for 49 days.
The Prisoner's Club said, "The decision of the occupation court represents a death sentence against him, especially after this period of time has passed since his open strike, and the escalation of the risks to his life."
He explained that Fasfous is the only detainee who is on a hunger strike today, and the occupation continues to detain him to this day in the cells of the Negev prison, where he is subjected to harsh detention conditions in addition to the systematic abuse to which he has been exposed since he began the hunger strike.
The Prisoner's Club confirmed that the occupation courts were and still are the primary tool that contributed to consolidating the crime of administrative detention, by holding mock courts and implementing the decisions of the occupation intelligence only.
The Prisoners' Club held the occupation authorities fully responsible for his fate, and called on all levels to intervene urgently to save his life and stop the crime of his arrest.
