Two Palestinian prisoners continue hunger strike for the 48th day

The Prisoners' Club said on Tuesday, "The detainees Kayed Al-Fasfous and Sultan Khalouf continue their open hunger strike in rejection of their administrative detention for the 48th day in a row."


The detainee Kayed Al-Fasfous is still detained in the cells of the Negev prison, and is subjected to systematic abuse, amid difficult health conditions.


The detainee, Al-Fafsous (34 years old), from the city of Dura/Hebron, was re-arrested by the occupation in May 2, 2023. He is a former prisoner who spent about (7) years in the occupation’s prisons, and he began facing arrest in 2007.


Meanwhile, the detainee, engineer Sultan Khallouf (42 years old) from the town of Burqin/Jenin, has been facing a difficult health condition in the cells (Ramla Prison Clinic), since the moment of his arrest and the announcement of his strike on 8/3/2023.
