Israeli forces close entrance of Khallet al-Mayya town, south of Hebron
Today, Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces closed the entrance to Khallet al-Mayya village, east of Yatta, south of Hebron.
According to local sources, these forces closed with cement cubes the entrance to the village leading to bypass road 60, isolated it from its surroundings, and prevented citizens from entering or leaving it.
The people in the villages of East Yatta and its surroundings suffer from the threat of permanent forced displacement in favor of the settlements established on their lands, and are exposed to almost daily violations by the occupation forces and settlers, represented by the closure of several main and secondary roads with earth mounds, cement cubes and iron gates, the demolition of their homes, the pursuit of shepherds, and assaults. Beat them, burn their agricultural crops, and prevent them from reaching their lands.
