Israeli Settlers storm Palestinian village of Jalboun, east of Jenin
Today, Monday, settlers stormed the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin, from the “Merav” settlement, from the eastern side of the village, which is besieged by the apartheid wall and several settlements.
Eyewitnesses reported to Al-Quds.com that after the settlement was exposed to gunfire by resistance fighters, the occupation forces stormed the village, leading to confrontations during which soldiers fired sound and gas bombs, causing children, students, and citizens to suffocate.
Later, the settlers stormed the village lands, and the head of the council, Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub, told Al-Quds.com that the settlers spread out on the village lands in a threatening message to the people as part of the ongoing attacks to take revenge on the people with repeated shooting operations at the settlements.
Abu Al-Rub said: “The occupation and settlers are targeting the area to create terror and panic and to terrorize us. There is no justification for these practices.”
The residents intercepted the settlers and prevented them from advancing towards the village. The occupation forces also stormed the area, closed it, and evacuated the settlers.
He called for an end to the attacks on the village, which is classified as Area C, surrounded by settlements and subjected to constant fire from the resistance.
