Two Palestinian prisoners continue their hunger strike for the 47th day

The Prisoner's Club reported on Monday that detainees Kayed Al-Fafsous and Sultan Khalouf are continuing their hunger strike in rejection of their administrative detention for the 47th day in a row, amid difficult health conditions that worsen over time.


The Prisoner's Club confirmed, in a statement, that, until today, the occupation authorities refuse to respond to their demand, or transfer them to a civilian hospital, despite the passage of this period since the strike.


The occupation authorities also continue to detain detainee Fasfous in the cells of (Naqab Prison), accompanied by the implementation of systematic torture measures against him. Detainee Khalouf is still detained in (Ramla Prison Clinic), where he suffers from a significant deterioration in his health condition.


The Prisoner's Club stated that the detainees, Al-Fafsous and Khalouf, are among the detainees who previously went on long strikes in rejection of administrative detention. Al-Fafsous went on a hunger strike in 2021 and lasted for (131) days. The detainee Khalouf also went on a hunger strike in 2019 and lasted for (67) days, and faced... Health problems resulting from the long strike.
