Number of Palestinian female prisoners in Israeli prisons increased to (37)
The Prisoner's Club said today, Monday, "The number of female prisoners in the occupation prisons has reached (37) prisoners, after a four-year actual prison sentence was recently issued against the activist Aya Al-Khatib from the occupied territories, in addition to a fine of 25 thousand shekels." .
The club continued in a statement: “The prisoner Al-Khatib will move today from house arrest, which lasted for about two years, to actual prison, after the unjust decision issued against her, which comes within the framework of the retaliatory policy implemented by the occupation authorities, and in their continuous attempt to undermine any effective role of our people.” In the territories occupied in 1948.
