Palestinian Minister Al-Hidmi: Israeli government takes advantage of holidays to escalate in Al-Aqsa
Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Fadi Al-Hadmi, said that the Israeli occupation government is taking advantage of its holidays to escalate the situation in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in an attempt to impose a temporal and spatial division.
Al-Hidmi indicated in a statement, today, Sunday, that the occupation authorities are seeking to end the legal and historical situation existing at Al-Aqsa, by preventing worshipers from entering the mosque, after they were assaulted by beatings or pursued by arrest.
He added: "While it restricted the entry of worshipers to the mosque and pursued and arrested them after the barbaric assault on them, the occupation police facilitated and encouraged extremist settlers' incursions into the mosque and the performance of Talmudic rituals."
Al-Hidmi called on the occupation government to respect the existing legal and historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to stop the incursions that affect the feelings and faith of Muslims in the world.
He stressed that the ongoing violations taking place at Al-Aqsa call for an Arab, Islamic and international stance, and support and support from the Arab and Muslim brothers and the international community for the Jerusalemites in light of the difficult circumstances that the occupied city of Jerusalem is going through.
