Palestinian Injuries a cause of confrontations with Israeli forces in West Bank
A number of Palestinian citizens were injured by live bullets, rubber-coated bullets, and suffocation, during confrontations that broke out with the occupation forces in the West Bank governorates, today, Friday.
In Nablus, four citizens were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens suffocated, during the Israeli occupation army’s suppression of an anti-settlement march in Qaryut, south of Nablus.
The occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and toxic tear gas at the march participants, wounding four citizens with metal bullets, one of whom was injured in the face, and dozens suffered from suffocation.
The director of ambulance and emergency services at the Red Crescent in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, said that the citizen who was injured in the face suffered from a broken nose and bleeding, and the necessary first aid was provided to him before he was transferred to the hospital.
It is noteworthy that during the past months, settlers intensified their raids on the Qaryut Spring, and broke its locks several times, in an attempt to seize it.
