The Prisoner's Club held the occupation authorities fully responsible for the fate of the detainee Hanan Saleh Al-Barghouti (59 years old), the sister of the captive leader Nael Al-Barghouti, who was arrested at dawn this day from the town of Kobar in Ramallah.

The Prisoner's Club said that the arrest of Al-Barghouti comes in the context of a systematic retaliation and (collective punishment) against the Barghouti family, which the occupation has been targeting for decades.

The detainee, Al-Barghouti, is the sister of Commander Nael Al-Barghouti, who spent a total of more than (43) years in the occupation prisons, and she is the sister of the struggling leader Omar Al-Barghouti, may God have mercy on him, who spent a total of more than 30 years in the occupation prisons. (Barghouti), who was recently targeted by the occupation with administrative detention, and she is the aunt of the martyr Saleh Al-Barghouti, who was killed by the occupation bullets in 2018, and the heroic prisoner, Asim Al-Barghouti.

The Prisoner's Club added that the detainee, Barghouti, had recently received several threats from the occupation, during the raids that took place on her house several times, and she was also denied a visit to her captive brother, Barghouti, as part of the targeting process.

It is worth mentioning that the Barghouti family is one of the most prominent families fighting against the occupation, which has sacrificed and continues to do so.
