Reading into the visit of the PA delegation to Jenin camp
The visit made by a number of members of the Central Committee of the Fatah Movement headed by Brother Mahmoud Al-Aloul "Abu Jihad" to the Jenin camp yesterday reflects the natural and true picture of the reality of our people's relationship with their leadership, and this visit should have taken place in the manner and timing in which it took place in order to cut off all the malicious intruders. On national action, they are trying to seize the opportunity to lead the scene, falsify the will of the people, and abuse its symbols.
I witnessed, as others witnessed, what happened when the Fatah delegation went to participate in the funeral of the martyrs of Jenin camp, and the confusion that was caused to brother Mahmoud Al-Aloun, the deputy head of the Fatah movement, which led to him not having the opportunity to address the crowd.
It is true that we are human beings. We blame, get excited, get angry, and express our anger and anger, and as the saying goes, "As much as we feel, there is blame." However, what happened was not limited to expressing anger and reproach, but it was exploited, especially by some "fighters" of social media who are completely absent from the arena and arenas of real action and struggle, to outbid Fatah and the authority and attack it badly.
There is no doubt that the visit of the Fatah delegation once again to the camp and its proper reception by the leaders and cadres of the camp put things in their true context and proper place, and it must be built upon in establishing the rules of trust between the bases of the resistance and the leadership, even in the absence of a common vision on how to deal with the occupation.
The people are not bound by the rules of any protocol, memorandums, or protocols of understanding, and the people have the right to express their rejection of the occupation in the ways they see fit and the means at their disposal, and the official leadership must leave the people the margin through which they can exercise their legitimate right to reject and resist the occupation.
One of the sayings of our fathers is "A people without ignorance lose their rights". Whoever witnessed or attended the events and gifts in many cases mentions that the elders of the tribe were always inclined to accept kindness and pacification, and pretended to be flexible and willing to concede. They were satisfied with them in their own hearts, because the stance of the youth and their refusal to accept any conditions imposed by the prestige that do not meet their demands, is what supports the backs of the wise adults and helps them to insist on the conditions demanded by the youth.
The elders used to claim that these young men were “ignorant” - that is, the laws of adults did not apply to them - and sought the excuse that they were “ignorant”. Her rights are lost."
A spokesman for the Jenin Brigade said that "Bawaredna" is not politicized in favor of anyone, but we are united in the goal of resisting the occupation. It would be better if those in charge of official affairs realized the importance of separating the rationality of the adults from the ignorance of the youth and acknowledged that only the ignorance of the youth helps them to stand up to the external pressures exerted on them, and that if the demands of the youth are not met, no one will be able to silence them.
With all of the above, it must be noted that there is a campaign of incitement against the Palestinian National Authority, accusing it of failure and impotence, abandoning the resistance and demanding its dissolution.
There is no doubt that such a campaign is naive and emotional in one part, and hostile to the rights of our people in the other part.
Naive and emotional, because those who speak from this standpoint do not take into account that we are part of the global and regional system and that everyone who talks about international legitimacy or calls for pursuing and prosecuting Israel in international criminal and political forums must know that only the Palestinian Authority and the internationally recognized state of Palestine are eligible. To communicate and reach international references because it is part of international legitimacy, and that any Palestinian organization that is not internationally recognized and classified as terrorist cannot reach the international forums that the State of Palestine reaches, and that the Authority is a national achievement that must be adhered to, developed and built upon, and not destroyed.
As for the other part that is biased and hostile to the rights of our people in its criticism of the authority and its demand for its dissolution, it is the part that does not have a national alternative, and falls within the framework of the frenzied campaign waged by the fascist right in Israel against the authority and against the Palestinian state, because the survival of any Palestinian legal national figure constitutes an obstacle and a threat to the plan. Zionism based on obliterating the existence of the Palestinian people as a prelude to the liquidation of their rights and cause.
Finally, before ending this haste, salutations must be paid to the honorable fighters in the Jenin camp and in every spot along the square of this homeland, and salutations and glory to the souls of the martyrs, and our wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured.
Let us agree on one thing, which is that the continued existence of the occupation is the only source of violence and killing, and that true peace will not be possible except with the end of the occupation and the achievement of security, dignity and freedom for our people, just like all the peoples of the region and the world.
