Israeli settlers attack Palestinians, vandalize property in north West Bank
Israeli settlers carried out additional attacks against Palestinian and their property in several areas in the northern West Bank on Wednesday.
According to eyewitnesses, a group of settlers, under the protection of the Israeli army, vandalized Palestinians' vehicles on the bridge of the village of Zibda, south of Jenin, and closed the main street linking Jenin with Tulkarem and the town of Ya’bad, injuring some Palestinians.
Israeli settlers destroyed a number of citizens’ vehicles on the bridge of Zibda village and closed the road linking the towns of Ya’bad and Barta’a.
Since this morning, the Israeli soldiers stationed at the Dotan checkpoint, which is built on the lands of Ya`bad, continue to obstruct citizens' movements, search their vehicles, and check citizens' identities.
In Nablus, just before midnight, at least 10 civilians were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets and stones, and dozens suffocated with poisonous gas, during an attack by settlers on citizens' homes in Jalud, south of Nablus.
Dozens of settlers attacked citizens' homes, wounding three citizens with rubber-coated metal bullets, seven others with stones, and dozens, including children, from suffocation with poisonous gas.
He confirmed that civil defense and Qaryut ambulance crews evacuated several families from three homes as a result of the attack.
He pointed out that the residents of the village of Jalud and the neighboring villages were able to repel the attack, and were able to put out a small fire that broke out in a house as a result of the settler attacks.
Separate areas witnessed similar attacks on Tuesday.
